Formula Example
Lost Time Reworking Products = Number of Units Reworked / Target Speed per Unit/Min

Given:

Number of Units Reworked: 140 Units

Target Speed per Unit/Min: 15 Units/min

Computation:

= 140 Units / 15 Units/min

= 9.33 min of Lost Time

Number of Units Reworked = Weight of Rework / Target Weight Per Unit  

Given:

Weight of Rework: 70 Kg

Target Weight Per Unit: 0.5 Kg/Uni

Computation:

= 70 Kg / 0.5 Kg/Unit

= 140 Units
