How To Use Shifts

Using shift reports gives operations and management teams an important level of visibility. Easily set up, shifts can be associated with specific lines to allow variation in scheduling.

Shifts

Shift Filters allow you to customize a set of shifts for your facility. Doing so lets you get more precision on the performance of certain shifts. For example, we can set up a morning shift, from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Selecting that filter will show all the data that falls between these times. A run spanning from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM, when filtered for the morning shift (as above) will pull only 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Adding or editing a shift will not cause retroactive changes, only changes to future data.

On the Daily Report page, there is a switch that makes shift filters available for use. By flicking that switch, the available shift filters will pop up. Selecting one or more shifts, then applying the filter will pull up only data that falls within those ranges.

Run Report Shift Filters

When looking at a specific run, you will have access to shift filters at the top of the Run Report. The filters show up as buttons at the top of the report. shiftrunreports

Clicking on Entire Run will show you all the data associated with a given run.

By Selecting a specific day, we can see all the shifts that are available to filter by.

This means that a run spanning multiple shifts can be broken down and analyzed by either shift or all at once.
